A ghost story is a memory the house refuses to forget. Use the prompt as the first cold draught, then let each writer add the next floorboard.

3. The new tenant inherits the previous tenant's appointments.
4. A wedding photographer notices an extra guest in every shot — always behind the bride.
5. An old radio in the attic only plays songs by musicians who died young.
6. A grandfather's clock chimes one extra time every night.
7. The cat keeps walking into a corner of the room and purring.
8. The lighthouse log is being written in the keeper's handwriting after he died.
